We are excited to announce the Package Handoff API, a new capability in the Amazon Shipping V2 API that enables shippers to share package handoff details with Amazon Shipping. This API provides real-time visibility into shipment status by allowing shippers to notify Amazon Shipping when packages are ready for pickup or have been physically handed off to Amazon Shipping, improving delivery accuracy and operational efficiency.

In late October 2026, Amazon Shipping API will actively validate and use the returnTo field on getRates and oneClickShipment for per-shipment return-to-origin (RTO) routing.

We are excited to expand our Value Added Service (VAS) offering to include Signature on Delivery (SoD) for ON-Amazon marketplace volume in the United Kingdom.
